Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick in the aviation sector seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple UK projects, ensuring on-time delivery and satisfaction of clients with respect to quality, safety, environmental impact and budget.

The role features leadership of the Project Operations Team, development of Work Package Plans, and ensuring CDM compliance across Civil engineering and construction activities in a complex aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Proven technical and project management abilities.
• Strong organisational and management skills.
• Knowledge of the requirements and implementation of CDM regulations.
• Ability to produce Work Package Plans and Task Briefing Sheets and implement safe systems of work.
• Detailed knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues relevant to the project environment.
• Experience from a Civils background.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project operations team to plan, programme and deliver projects on time and to the client’s satisfaction.
• Ensure delivery aligns with quality, safety, environmental impact and budget requirements.
• Oversee creation of work packages, task briefing sheets and safe systems of work.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, subcontractors and the client to manage risks and resources.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our Aviation business working on multiple projects across the UK.

The Senior Project Manager is the most senior project based member of staff and is both an integral member of the Project Operations Team and the leader of the Team. The Team is responsible for the effective and efficient running of the project throughout the delivery ensuring the project is planned, programmed and delivered on time to the satisfaction of the client with respect to quality, safety, environmental impact and budget.
