Job summary

VolkerWessels UK is seeking a capable on-site works manager to support the Project Manager in delivering a civil engineering/infrastructure project. You will oversee all on-site activities, coordinating subcontractors to ensure efficient delivery and adherence to programme.

The role requires proven works manager experience, SMSTS, CSCS, and hands-on experience with heavy plant operations. VolkerWessels UK emphasises safety, collaboration, and high standards across our projects.

Qualifications

Proven track record of successful project delivery as works manager.
Relevant experience within Civil Engineering/Infrastructure.
CSCS and SMSTS certifications or equivalent.
Experience in heavy plant operations.

Responsibilities

Support the Project Manager in delivering the project on-site.
Coordinate subcontract activities to ensure efficient delivery.
Maintain safety, quality, and programme on site.
