Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking a Senior Site Manager to join our Build business in Cambridge. You will lead site operations, drive delivery performance and uphold safety, quality and environmental standards on a major project.

You will manage the programme, budget and resources, coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring compliance with company policies and client requirements.

Qualifications

• NVQ 4 or equivalent
• CSCS – Supervisor
• Site Safety Training Scheme – CITB or equivalent
• Knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues
• Experience from a Tier 1 Main Contractor within the Built Environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver the project on time, within budget and to required quality.
• Ensure health, safety, environmental and quality compliance on site.
• Manage programme and budget requirements and report to the Project Manager.

The Senior Site Manager is the most senior member of the site operations team and is the key person responsible for the successful delivery of the project. The Senior Site Manager has the ultimate responsibility to ensure health, safety, environmental & quality compliance as well as programme and budget requirements

About You

• NVQ 4 or equivalent
• CSCS – Supervisor
• Senior Site Management Safety Training Scheme – CITB or equal equivalent
• Knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues
• Experience from a Tier 1 Main Contractor within the Built Environment
