Job summary

HS2 Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join the Depots Engineering team, overseeing design delivery and engineering assurance across civils, buildings and railway systems.

In this role you will act as a key interface between HS2, designers and contractors, coordinating technical responses and reviewing information to resolve issues while maintaining programme and commercial constraints.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–10 years' relevant engineering experience.
• Experience on large, complex multidisciplinary engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Background within civils, buildings, mechanical, electrical or multidisciplinary rail engineering.
• Experience coordinating design rather than detailed design.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assure engineering delivery across civils, buildings and railway systems.
• Coordinate technical interfaces between HS2, designers and contractors.
• Review technical information, identify issues and coordinate responses.
• Support design through construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
