Job summary

Yorkshire Water is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead technical supervision and delivery of ICA projects within the Asset Delivery team. You will coordinate design, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive value through strong project execution.

The role requires experience in control systems, electrical/ICA equipment, and a solid understanding of CDM, RAMS, and Permits. A hybrid approach with travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Instrumentation Control & Automation (ICA) background or Engineering degree.
• ONC/HNC/BTEC in Electrical Control & Automation.
• Understanding of control of works – Permits, POWRA, RAMS etc.
• Knowledge of CDM regulations and site supervision.
• Experience with electrical, ICA, mechanical and process equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical supervision and line management of Project Technicians.
• Coordinate design and safe delivery of ICA projects within Specialist Projects.
• Ensure compliance with CDM requirements and act as Principal Contractor where needed.
• Adhere to YW Engineering specifications and documentation.
• Promote health, safety and risk management standards across projects.
• Maintain robust financial management and commercial awareness.
