Job summary
Yorkshire Water is seeking an ICA Project Engineer to join the Engineering Team. The role involves designing, developing and testing ICA services across instrumentation, PLC/HMI and SCADA systems, with site data networks.
You will take a technical and financial lead on projects to deliver value and ensure compliance with CDM and safety standards. The role offers remote working with regular travel to Yorkshire Water sites (2–3 days/week), a permanent contract, and development opportunities within
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent ICA Apprenticeship & ONC/HNC/BTEC in Electrical or ICA Engineering.
- Broad experience with electrical and ICA equipment to engineer solutions.
- Ability to enable YW Electrical Authorisation (LV).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy and test ICA services in instrumentation, PLC/HMI and SCADA.
- Lead technical and financial aspects of projects, ensuring best value and alignment with requirements.
- Ensure projects meet quality, standards and regulatory requirements (CDM).
- Oversee customer handover against agreed scope and manage asset integrity, safety and reliability.
