Job summary

Yorkshire Water is excited to invite applications for the Project Engineer ICA within our Engineering Team. The role focuses on designing, developing, deploying and testing ICA services across instrumentation, PLC/HMI, SCADA and site data networks.

Based in the Yorkshire region with remote working and regular travel to sites, the position is permanent, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We offer a competitive salary, company car, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or ICA Apprenticeship & ONC/HNC/BTEC in Electrical or ICA Engineering.
• Broad experience with electrical and ICA equipment; capable of engineered solutions.
• Qualifications to facilitate YW Electrical Authorisation (LV).
• Experience with PLC, HMI, SCADA, Telemetry and related instruments.
• Understanding CDM principles and change control.
• Full driving licence and ability to travel across the Yorkshire region.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and test ICA services across instrumentation, PLC/HMI, SCADA and site networks.
• Take technical and financial lead on projects to ensure value and alignment with requirements.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards, statutes and CDM requirements; perform handovers.
• Contribute to creating/modifying assets for safety, compliance and reliability.
• Provide input to short- and long-term strategic plans.
