Job summary

Fluence is a global leader in intelligent energy storage and optimization software, delivering EPC turnkey projects across the EMEA region. The Senior Project Engineer will lead cross-functional teams, ensure safety and quality, manage budgets, and drive value engineering on complex energy infrastructure programs including HV systems and energy storage facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing and executing utility-scale power systems or energy infrastructure in the EMEA region.
• Strong EPC project experience with HV systems and renewable integration.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage external engineering firms, subcontractors, and internal disciplines to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet contractual requirements, are constructible, and consider regional design/regulatory impacts.
• Lead design reviews and ensure ISO 9001 quality management compliance.
• Drive value engineering and innovative design improvements for system efficiency and constructability.
• Support procurement with construction/electrical equipment specs and vendor evaluations.
• Review internal/subcontractor designs for contractual and standards compliance.
• Take full technical responsibility for EPC turnkey projects, including HV systems.
• Manage technical escalations and provide effective resolutions.
• Execute projects in alignment with Fluence safety requirements and KPIs.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
• Travel throughout the EMEA region to support project execution.
