• Plan, coordinate, and present at design reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including non-engineering functions.
• Engage with customers, partners, and strategic suppliers.
• Author and maintain key project documents, such as Engineering Development Plans and Declarations of Performance.
• Provide regular project updates to senior engineering leadership.
• Maintain awareness of Ultra\'s product portfolio and competitive landscape.

What are we looking for in our next Senior Project Engineer?

• Degree in an engineering or science discipline.
• Proven experience in one or more of the following: project leadership, systems, software, or electronics engineering.
• Experience designing and testing to military environmental standards.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Experience leading complex projects with substantial software, electronics, and systems elements.
• Background in Defence or Aerospace industries.
• Knowledge of safety-critical development (DO-178/DO-254 or IEC61508).
• Experience in electronic architecture development.
• Familiarity with UK Land Vehicle Defence Standards (e.g., DEF STAN 59-411, DEF STAN 61-05, DEF STAN 00-35).
