AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead major Power & Industrial projects across the UK and internationally. You will drive delivery from feasibility through to close-out, ensure safety, quality and commercial success, and build senior client relationships while guiding teams to achieve strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• This role suits someone with experience delivering major, complex multidisciplinary projects at Project Director level.
• Strong sector experience across power grids, generation, renewables, hydrogen, energy storage, oil & gas, or industrial decarbonisation.
• Extensive experience leading client relationships in regulated, safety-critical environments.
• Strong commercial awareness including budget management, forecasting, risk and contract administration.
• Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience building and mentoring high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of major Power & Industrial projects across the full lifecycle.
• Ensure safety, quality, schedule and commercial success.
• Build and sustain strong, trusted client relationships at executive level.
• Oversee project performance with effective cost, schedule, risk and reporting management.
• Lead bidding and contribute to business growth and opportunities.
