Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Kingdom seeks an Associate Director - Project Controls to lead performance measurement, cost, schedule and risk management across major infrastructure programmes.

You will chair change forums, integrate data for monthly reporting, mentor a project controls team, and partner with planning, cost and risk functions to deliver projects in Transportation, Infrastructure and Energy sectors.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge and proven hands-on experience of leading project controls within large infrastructure projects.
• Working knowledge of schedule, cost and risk management practices.
• Strong aptitude to supervise schedule, cost, risk, reporting and change management activities.
• Experience in functional leadership of a Project Controls team on large-scale projects.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and information flow in a matrix environment with senior levels of management.
• Knowledge of transport, energy, major infrastructure or construction projects (NEC contracts) and related client/consultancy context.
• Project controls or project management qualification from APM or similar accrediting bodies.

Responsibilities

• Establish, monitor, and manage PMB; report KPIs and progress to senior leaders.
• Develop and implement a performance measurement system such as EV and integrate into reporting.
• Lead change control processes; chair change forums and coordinate change impact assessments.
• Lead periodic reporting; ensure monthly project review pack is accurate and on time.
• Integrate schedule, cost, scope, quality, change and risk data for a full project health view.
• Collaborate with Planning, cost management and risk functions; deputise for Project Controls lead.
• Provide specialist advice to resolve delays, issues, and challenges; mentor staff.
