Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist in England for a permanent, hybrid role. You will develop and coordinate technical information, driving detailed design from concept through construction across Residential, Commercial and Education sectors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years post‑qualification experience in the UK.
• CIAT registration or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Detailed design and technical delivery experience.
• Strong Revit experience.
• Knowledge of BIM Level 2 is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of NBS and construction standards.
• Understanding of Building Regulations and Building Safety Act.
• Ability to solve technical problems and develop buildable solutions.
• Strong coordination of information and design changes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate detailed architectural and technical information.
• Lead elements of the detailed design process through to construction.
• Translate design concepts into robust, buildable solutions.
• Coordinate information with internal teams, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Produce and develop detailed drawings using Revit.
• Manage and respond to design changes throughout project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with construction standards and legislation.
• Apply Building Regulations and Building Safety Act understanding.
• Collaborate with architects and project teams to deliver high-quality information.
