Job summary

Central Recruitment Services Ltd is assisting a prominent homelessness charity in Orpington to recruit a Senior Progression Coach. The role involves supervising a team, delivering client-focused support and coordinating with local agencies to improve outcomes for young people with high support needs.

The position runs 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 10:00–18:00, on a temporary basis until 29 October. Competitive hourly rate with holiday pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising others and line management responsibilities.
• Experience using risk assessments and outcome-based planning.
• Experience working with vulnerable young people or homelessness.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Commitment to health and safety and safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Hold line management responsibility for coaches, supervise and appraise staff.
• Ensure high-quality risk and needs assessments and SMART plans.
• Deliver one-to-one and group support in accommodation and community.
• Lead partnerships with local agencies and ensure data protection compliance.
• Involve clients in decisions and support Education, Training, Employment activities.
• Oversee premises health and safety and coordinate repairs reporting.
• Supervise volunteers and support recruitment and induction.
