Job summary

St Basils is seeking a Progression Coach on a fixed term contract for 9 months to support young people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. You will develop personalised plans, provide practical and emotional guidance, and help clients move toward independent living.

Working within a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE), you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver wellbeing activities, maintain records, and uphold safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people or vulnerable adults in housing, youth work, social care, education or similar environments.
• Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with young people and partners.
• Commitment to safeguarding, equality, inclusion and person-centred support.

Responsibilities

• Create personalised support plans with young people to overcome challenges and achieve goals.
• Provide practical guidance, emotional support and encouragement.
• Help them settle into accommodation and progress to education, employment or training.
• Maintain accurate records, contribute to safeguarding, and work within a PIE team.
