Job summary

Safran Seats in Cwmbran, Wales, United Kingdom, seeks an experienced Planning professional to optimise production scheduling and MRP execution. You will drive recovery plans with Operations and supply chain teams, ensure material readiness, and lead capacity reviews to sustain on-time delivery.

You'll collaborate across functions, manage master data accuracy in ERP, and champion lean improvements within an aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Production Planning, Control and Scheduling processes.
• Demonstrable experience of MRP and lean improvement.
• Proven ability to coach and grow a team across functions.

Responsibilities

• Determine planning methodology for all work centres and horizons.
• Set schedules, identify bottlenecks, and align with MRP requirements.
• Drive recovery plans with Operations and Supply Chain.
• Identify enablement risks and accelerate material flow with Procurement.
• Ensure raw material availability to meet schedules short and long term.
• Facilitate daily/weekly reviews and capacity planning with leaders.
• Analyze performance metrics and report weekly/monthly.
