Job summary

Safran in Cwmbran, South Wales, is seeking an Engineering Change Manager to lead the change control process across multidisciplinary teams in a regulated aerospace environment. You will coordinate ECR evaluations, chair Change Control Board meetings, and ensure on-time delivery within cost and quality targets while driving continuous improvement and PLM/ERP integration.

Qualifications

Degree qualified in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
Experience managing product configuration and engineering change processes within a regulated environment.
CM2 Certification or equivalent knowledge of industry standards.
Desirable: aerospace/defense industry exposure and change management across product lines.

Responsibilities

Lead and maintain the organisation's Engineering Change Management Process across disciplines.
Coordinate the evaluation and implementation of engineering change requests (ECR) and manage the Change Control Board (CCB).
Plan, schedule, and monitor change implementation activities to ensure timely delivery and resource alignment.
Report on KPIs, schedule progress, and share best practices and lessons learned across projects.
Support integration and improvement of PLM/ERP systems within the change framework.
