Job summary

Safran Seats in Cwmbran, Wales, is seeking a Quality Engineer to assure product quality across the lifecycle, supporting manufacturing, repair and validation processes.

You will work with Operations Quality teams, lead audits, implement CAPAs, and coordinate with external suppliers and internal design teams to meet customer requirements.

The role requires AS9100 knowledge, 8D problem solving, and strong leadership to drive continuous improvement in aerospace manufacturing.

Qualifications

• HNC/ HND in Engineering or equivalent required.
• Extensive QA experience in Aerospace/Defence.
• Familiar with AS9100 quality management system and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage HSE and flight safety risks.
• Experience auditing and internal QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality objectives aligned with company goals.
• Define and monitor product quality across manufacturing, repair and validation processes.
• Conduct QRQC and 8D investigations to resolve issues.
• Coordinate with suppliers, internal design teams and external customers.
• Drive continuous improvement using data analysis and corrective actions.
