Safran Nacelles in Burnley, UK, is seeking an analytical MPS Planner to translate production demand into achievable schedules, balancing capacity, inventory and customer commitments. Qualifications

• Experience in Production Planning, Master Scheduling, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Planning.
• Strong understanding of MRP II and production planning principles.
• Experience developing and managing production schedules.
• Ability to analyse complex data and provide practical solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Translate production plans into daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing schedules.
• Perform RCCP analysis to ensure production plans are achievable.
• Identify capacity constraints and develop planning scenarios to mitigate risks.
• Maintain ERP planning parameters and data accuracy.
• Validate MRP outputs and ensure planning data integrity.
• Monitor production performance and provide weekly/monthly reporting.
• Prepare Monthly Supply Point Reviews including capacity analysis and planning recommendations.
• Build and maintain VEX forecasts, highlighting risks, opportunities, and forecast variances.
• Work closely with Manufacturing teams to validate production plans and resolve scheduling issues.
