As a Procurement Manager, you will work on procurement strategy with the Senior Procurement Manager. You will be responsible for delivering project procurement objectives and requirements. Duties include:

• Providing market intelligence, cost advice, supply chain performance management, and feedback
• Supporting a team of procurement professionals, including training & development, staff appraisals, retention & reward, and recruitment to provide effective procurement services for the project
• Being responsible and accountable for the procurement process of subcontractors, materials, plant, and services, in accordance with the project procurement strategy and commitments
• Providing management information and reports in line with project requirements
• Developing professional, robust, and effective working relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers to ensure best value for the project

• Demonstrated added value through procurement activity

Experience of CIPS or working towards CIPS is desirable, or chartership in another discipline (CIOB or RICS). We are also considering relevant in-job experience. Candidates must be able to access our project offices in Manchester or Dartford.
