Senior Procurement Manager - Leeds

A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Procurement Manager based in Leeds to work with a talented team of procurement professionals. The role involves delivering strategic procurement and contract advice, managing the full procurement lifecycle from initiation to completion, and working with a key client.

Opportunities for international and national travel will be available to support and manage commissions.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide procurement advice to clients on significant projects.
  • Offer specialist procurement strategy advice across various sectors.
  • Manage procurement services from start to finish on large-scale construction-related projects.
  • Support the development of the company’s services to clients.
  • Contribute to team goals through procurement support.
  • Assist in proposal documents and bid preparations.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Experience in developing procurement strategies and documentation compliant with OJEU regulations.
  • Experience in contract management, including development, drafting, negotiation, and award.
  • Knowledge of strategic sourcing and supply chain management.
  • Cross-sector procurement experience with a strong background in procurement practices.
  • Experience with commercial modeling.
  • SC clearance is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently with confidence.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a success-driven attitude.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
  • A degree in quantity surveying, law, or procurement is preferred.
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS) is preferred.
