Senior Procurement Consultant Job Description

The successful candidate will work alongside a highly skilled team providing strategic procurement and contract advice, including end-to-end procurement services for key water, power, and renewables clients.

The team includes specialists in procurement and contract strategy, claims management, and dispute resolution services.

Opportunities for national and international travel to service and manage key accounts for our blue-chip client portfolio are available.

A competitive salary package will be offered, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Fulfill the responsibilities of a Senior Procurement and Contracts Consultant.
  • Provide specialist procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement services.
  • Support the development of procurement services offered.
  • Assist in business development and marketing within the division.
  • Contribute to achieving team and business targets.
  • Support bid preparation, proposal documentation, and enhance the work-winning capabilities of the division.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Strong background across the procurement lifecycle, including strategy development and tender processes.
  • Extensive experience with various contract forms, especially NEC and JCT.
  • Experience providing procurement strategy advice to public and private sector clients.
  • Knowledge of Contract Management and Public/Utilities Contract Regulations.
  • Skills in contract drafting, negotiation, and award processes.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Law, Procurement, or related field, or MCIPS qualification.
