Babcock is seeking a Senior Project Procurement Specialist to lead strategic sourcing for high-value infrastructure and defence programmes at Devonport Royal Dockyard. You will shape procurement strategies, drive end-to-end activities, and develop multi-supplier frameworks to ensure best value and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in strategic procurement within infrastructure or defence.
• Experience designing multi-supplier, multi-lot framework agreements.
• Experience managing high-value procurements at portfolio level (>£100M).
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and develop effective supply chain partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of high-value procurement and contracting strategies.
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, from market engagement through to contract award.
• Develop framework agreements and commercial models supporting major programmes.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and strategic delivery partners.
• Drive commercial excellence, compliance and value-for-money outcomes across procurement activities.
