Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley, a joint venture between JN Bentley and Mott MacDonald, is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for ongoing water projects in the UK. The role focuses on leading process design from outline to detailed stages, with involvement in construction and commissioning to enhance water and wastewater treatment systems.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Chemical or Process Engineering and chartered/incorporated membership or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills are essential.
• Must be methodical with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel to sites across the regional operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of process design deliverables (models, mass balances, control philosophies).
• Provide technical assurance of process designs and ensure compliance with standards.
• Identify opportunities for innovation to meet whole-life cost and net-zero drivers.
• Collaborate with commercial, operations and construction teams across design, construction and commissioning.
• Engage with clients to manage relationships and support project aims.
• Mentor engineers and support resource allocation within the team.
