Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is recruiting a Senior Process Engineer to lead process design on UK water projects, from outline through to detailed design, with construction and commissioning support. You will help improve water and wastewater systems while contributing to our growing North West framework and long-term development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering (or related field) is required.
• Chartered or Incorporated member of a professional institution (ICE/IMechE) or equivalent experience.
• Effective communication with team members and stakeholders is essential.
• Methodical problem-solving approach required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of process design deliverables (process models, mass balances, control philosophies).
• Provide technical assurance of process designs and ensure compliance with standards.
• Identify opportunities for innovation to meet whole-life cost and net-zero goals.
• Collaborate with commercial, operational and construction teams throughout design, construction and commissioning stages.
• Engage with the client and manage relationships to support project aims.
• Mentor and develop the process engineering team and allocate resources.
