Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead process design for water and wastewater projects in the UK. You will oversee from outline to detail design and support construction and commissioning, driving efficiency and safe solutions while developing your technical and management skills.

You will work closely with commercial, operational and construction teams, mentor engineers, and engage with clients to deliver whole-life cost improvements and contribute to the JV's

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering or related field.
• Chartered or incorporated member with a recognised institution (ICE/IMechE).
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Methodical approach to problem solving.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of process design deliverables (process models, mass balances, control philosophies).
• Provide technical assurance of process designs and ensure compliance with standards.
• Identify opportunities for innovation to meet whole-life cost and net-zero goals.
• Collaborate with commercial, operational and construction teams to deliver safe, practical solutions.
• Engage with clients to manage relationships and support project aims.
• Mentor and develop the process engineering team and allocate resources.
