AtkinsRéalis in the UK seeks a Senior / Principal Structural Engineer to lead delivery of heavy civil and nuclear defence projects, guiding multidisciplinary teams and ensuring design excellence.

You will mentor engineers, review calculations and drawings, and develop innovative approaches within regulated environments, engaging with clients and stakeholders across the project lifecycle.

Competenze

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and Chartered Engineer status.
• Experience delivering heavy civil structures in nuclear/defence contexts.
• Familiar with design codes and standards for critical infrastructure.

Mansioni

• Lead and coordinate teams delivering complex work packages for nuclear/defence projects.
• Provide technical leadership for design of heavy civil structures (reinforced concrete, steel, foundations).
• Produce, review and oversee calculations, reports, specs and drawings.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and international delivery centres.
• Apply engineering judgement to solve complex challenges and inform decisions.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and graduates.
• Build strong client relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
