AtkinsRéalis in the UK seeks a Senior/Principal Structural Engineer to lead teams delivering safety‑critical heavy civil structures for nuclear and defence programmes. You will provide technical leadership on RC and steel design, coordinate with project managers and delivery centres, and mentor junior engineers across the practice.

The role offers hybrid working, with office/site presence, and opportunities to shape landmark projects in a collaborative environment.

Qualificações

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Chartered Engineer status (ICE, IStructE or similar).
Proven experience delivering heavy civil structures in nuclear/defence or regulated sectors.
Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel in safety‑critical projects.
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating with clients.

Responsabilidades

Lead and coordinate teams of structural engineers on major nuclear/defence projects.
Provide technical leadership for design of heavy civil structures (RC, steel, foundations, underground).
Produce, review and oversee technical outputs (calculations, reports, drawings).
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and international delivery centres.
Mentor engineers and graduates to promote technical excellence.
