Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal Hydrogeologist to lead groundwater permitting and quarrying hydrogeology services from Reading, Birmingham or Shrewsbury. You will drive technically rigorous work, nurture client relationships and contribute to growth across major energy, infrastructure and regulated-sector projects.

Qualifications

Degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, Water Resources or related discipline with MSc or PhD.
Significant experience in hydrogeology, groundwater assessment, water resources, quarrying/mining, environmental permitting or environmental consultancy.

Responsibilities

Lead groundwater permitting work from strategy through regulator engagement.
Oversee complex hydrogeological assessments and modelling.
Mentor junior and mid-level colleagues and develop client relationships.
