Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to join the Energy and Resources Group in the UK. Based in Reading, with options for Birmingham or Shrewsbury, you will deliver high-quality hydrogeological services across minerals and resources projects.

You will develop hydrogeological models, conduct investigations, and contribute to reports for clients and regulators, while mentoring junior staff and supporting business development. A UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in hydrogeology or related Earth sciences.
• Experience applying groundwater studies to environmental impact assessments.
• Strong report writing and client/regulator communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead groundwater investigations, aquifer testing and modelling.
• Develop robust hydrogeological conceptual models for projects.
• Support junior colleagues and contribute to business development.
• Engage with regulators and ensure regulatory compliance.
