Allianz UK is seeking a Principal Pricing Analyst to join the Broker home Pricing team in a hybrid role across offices in London, Bournemouth, Chelmsford or Birmingham. You will drive pricing decisions, review risk models, and work with cross-functional teams to optimise pricing and products for customers and brokers.

The role emphasizes data analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and implementing pricing changes with a strong emphasis on technical and commercial impact.

Qualifications

• Advanced pricing experience in personal lines.
• Experience with large data sources and coding languages (Python, SQL, SAS, Databricks).
• Experience with Willis Towers Watson Radar software.
• Understanding of price components and optimisation to hit targets.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of statistical modelling methods and machine learning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Review impact of risk model updates and continually improve data and processes.
• Collaborate with teams to understand needs, data requirements and modelling outcomes.
• Handle data from source to modelling rating changes and implement changes in rating.
• Analyze data, interpret results and communicate to non-technical audiences.
• Regularly review pricing and underwriting monitors and escalate key points.
• Monitor underwriting footprint and recommend adjustments.
• Define priorities with manager and report on project work and rate reviews.
• Assist with BAU including reporting.
