Job summary

Allianz UK is seeking a Principal Pricing Analyst to join the Broker home Pricing team in a hybrid role. The position involves statistical analysis, data-driven recommendations, and collaboration with stakeholders to improve pricing and products for customers and brokers.

You will work across data sources from source to modelling rating changes, supporting BAU activities and identifying opportunities to optimise the underwriting footprint and pricing strategy.

Qualifications

• Advanced personal lines pricing experience.
• Experience working with large data sources and coding languages (Python, SQL, SAS, Databricks).
• Experience with Radar software from Willis Towers Watson.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of statistical modelling methods and machine learning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Review impact and implementation of risk model updates; seek data/process improvements.
• Collaborate with teams to understand needs, data requirements and modelling outcomes.
• Handle data from source to rating changes and implement adjustments.
• Analyse data, interpret results, and communicate to non-technical audiences.
• Regularly review pricing and underwriting monitors and escalate key points.
