Job summary

Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Semi-Senior / Senior Practice Accountant to join a rapidly growing firm of Chartered Certified Accountants. The role covers accounts prep, tax returns, VAT, and management accounts, with room to progress to a senior client-facing position.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years UK practice experience and is AAT/ACCA part or fully qualified, with comfort adopting new cloud-based software to improve day-to-day work.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum UK accountancy practice experience.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.
• Confident working independently and taking ownership of client work.
• Experience with cloud-based software assimilation.

Responsibilities

• Accounts preparation and submission for Limited companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships.
• Preparation and submission of management accounts.
• Preparation and submission of corporate and personal tax returns.
• VAT returns and self‑assessment preparation and submission.
• Payroll experience desirable, but not essential.
• Liaising with HMRC and dealing with Companies House matters where required.
