Job summary

Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Semi-Senior / Senior Practice Accountant to join a rapidly growing Chartered Certified firm in Leicestershire. You will prepare and submit accounts for Limited companies, sole traders and partnerships, along with management accounts and tax returns, while taking ownership of client portfolios.

The role requires 3+ years UK practice experience, AAT/ACCA qualification, and a proactive approach to adopting new software.

Qualifications

• AAT/ACCA part or fully qualified.
• Three years minimum UK accountancy practice experience.
• Pro-active in implementing new software within day-to-day role.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Partner/Director.
• Accounts preparation and submission for Limited companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships.
• Preparation and submission of management accounts.
• Preparation and submission of corporate and personal tax returns.
• VAT returns and self-assessment preparation and submission.
• Liaise with HMRC and Companies House matters where required.
