Job summary

Lyst is a global fashion platform founded in London. We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Platform squad within Data & Infrastructure.

You will help build, maintain and scale infrastructure handling tens of millions of requests daily, ensuring security, reliability and a top-class developer experience for internal teams. You will work on deployment automation, scale optimization across Cloudflare, AWS, and Kubernetes, and drive observability with ELK, Grafana and New Relic.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS and platform resources (EKS, EC2, ECS, RDS, ElastiCache).
• Familiarity with Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong focus on scale, reliability and observability.

Responsibilities

• Deployment: orchestrating Terraform, Docker and GitHub to enable deploying code for 200+ apps/services/APIs.
• Automation: building tooling to manage infrastructure, metrics and code declaratively.
• Scale: enabling Lyst to handle a billion requests per month with AWS, Cloudflare and Kubernetes.
• Monitoring and alerting: using ELK, Grafana and New Relic to provide insights and alerts.
• Ownership: building tooling and documentation to give teams visibility into infra and costs.
• Security: enforcing access controls and audit readiness across platforms.
