Job summary

Our Future Health seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to build and scale cloud platforms that support participant websites, data processing, and TRE sharing. You will shape platform requirements with engineering and operations, and drive a pragmatic, iterative approach to delivering robust systems.

The role emphasizes IaC, cloud-native tooling, and security, with on-call responsibilities and a path toward shaping the tech stack as the company grows in London.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud DevOps/platform engineering for large-scale live services.
• Hands-on IaC with Terraform, OpenTofu, Terragrunt, Pulumi.
• Strong Python automation and scripting skills.
• Experience with GitOps, CI/CD, and modern deployment pipelines.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native security practices.
• Ability to work in Agile teams and participate in code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Help create cloud platforms to support Our Future Health as we scale.
• Define platform requirements with engineering and operations teams.
• Iteratively build the platform, starting simple and increasing complexity.
• Contribute to development processes for a growing team.
• Own end-to-end solutions from conception to deployment and on-call.
• Integrate and deploy third-party tools as needed.
• Propose innovative ideas for distributed systems, scale, and security.
• Implement best practices for availability, scalability, and efficiency.
