Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a highly motivated software engineer to join our Production Platform Organization. You will build the infrastructure necessary to collect, store, and make reliability data easily accessible for monitoring needs.

You’ll collaborate with Product Managers and Product Site Reliability Engineers on quality of service measurements for enterprise customers, and define SLI/SLO plans to verify systems operate as expected.

Qualifications

Deep understanding of uptime metrics (SLIs/SLAs) and reliability planning.
Proven track record as a software engineer in distributed systems.
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining highly-available distributed systems.
Proficiency in Go, Rust, or Python.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain production reliability testing infrastructure.
Define and document SLI/SLO plans to verify system reliability.
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand system behavior and interactions.
Communicate feedback to engineering and product teams to drive reliability improvements.
Work with Product Managers and SREs on quality of service measurements for enterprise customers.
