Job summary

Ocean Infinity in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design and evolve core platform systems, and to build, operate and scale foundational tooling for software delivery. You will own key platform components, contribute to architecture decisions, and improve internal tooling for reliability and efficiency.

You’ll collaborate across engineering teams, strengthen observability, and ensure self-service capabilities so product teams can deploy and operate services at scale

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, SRE or DevOps.
• Strong experience with cloud environments and Kubernetes in production.
• Hands-on infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Solid observability with monitoring, logging and tracing.
• Ability to build secure, scalable and reliable platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve core platform systems including cloud, Kubernetes and internal tooling foundations.
• Own and deliver infra, deployments and automation to improve reliability and performance.
• Develop platform capabilities that are secure, fault-tolerant and easy to adopt.
• Enhance developer productivity with internal tools and workflows.
• Improve monitoring, logging and alerting for quick incident response.
• Investigate and resolve issues across distributed systems and cloud services.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to support new features.
• Promote platform standards and best practices.
