Job summary

Explore Group in London (West London) is seeking a Platform Engineer to architect and maintain scalable cloud-based infrastructure. You will focus on building internal platforms and shared services that accelerate delivery while ensuring reliability in day-to-day operations.

You will apply software engineering practices to infrastructure, using Terraform, Pulumi or Crossplane, and contribute to enabling client teams to move fast without sacrificing quality.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of cloud architecture and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in Go, Python or Java for solving infrastructure problems.

Responsibilities

• Platform Architecture: Build and operate shared infrastructure and internal developer platforms.
• Reliability & Scale: Reduce toil and address platform gaps to improve resilience.
• Code-Driven Infrastructure: Use IaC tooling to manage infrastructure as code.
• Enablement: Help client teams adopt tooling and practices to move fast with quality.
