Job summary

Icehouseventures is looking for a Platform Engineer to manage and advance our cloud infrastructure and tooling in London. This broad role encompasses working with Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes to enhance developer productivity and safety.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cloud infrastructure, RBAC/IAM, and CI/CD, with a focus on building impactful developer tools within a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on cloud infrastructure experience, ideally Azure.
• Strong RBAC/IAM knowledge; experience with application/product-level IAM is valuable.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical security and networking knowledge.
• Experience as part of a support or on-call rotation.
• Strong communicator who can guide developers.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Own RBAC/IAM across cloud and application layers.
• Support Kubernetes-based workflows.
• Build tools for engineers.
• Participate in support/on-call rotation.
