Job summary

Oxa in Oxford is seeking a Senior Engineer for the Platform Engineering function to design and develop scalable, production-ready solutions across products and projects.

You’ll collaborate with stream-aligned teams, improve operability, security, and reliability, and help manage production environments with IaC, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and GPU workloads.

The role offers hybrid remote options, market-leading benefits, and a share programme.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with installing, configuring, and managing Linux environments.
• Extensive experience with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform.
• Experience with cloud, such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Relevant experience with building and maintaining CI/CD systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to architect, maintain, and scale cost-efficient infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies.
• Experience with GPU-based workloads on GCP/GKE is a plus.
• Experience enforcing security best practices per compliance needs.
