Job summary

Worldpay is seeking a senior leader to drive the delivery of high-volume payments platforms. You will manage application development, client delivery, and platform modernisation while guiding multi-disciplinary teams through complex, high-availability environments.

Responsibilities include setting delivery strategy, overseeing risk and compliance, and partnering with executives to ensure customer impact and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading software delivery in payment-enabled environments.
• Experience managing large multi-disciplinary teams delivering critical technology services.
• Understanding of regulatory/compliance in payments (PCI, risk, audit) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage application development and client delivery for a portfolio of payment gateway platforms.
• Lead teams designing, developing, testing, and supporting software products.
• Oversee full SDLC from planning to production support and audit readiness.
• Ensure quality, security, resilience and operational readiness across platforms.
• Coordinate with compliance, security, risk and product teams for regulatory adherence.
• Guide managers and engineers, including performance reviews and capability development.
• Forecast resource needs and optimise delivery throughput across teams.
