Job summary

Skipton Building Society is seeking a Senior Platform Owner for the Payments Platform. You will own the mission, roadmap and performance, coordinating across product, engineering, operations, finance, risk and compliance to deliver a resilient, modern payments capability.

You'll define standards, manage risk and partner with multiple teams to evolve Open Banking, ISO 20022 and payment hub initiatives while balancing current needs with future innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience owning or shaping a complex technology platform or enterprise capability.
• Strong understanding of payments or financial services tech.
• Ability to create multi-year roadmaps balancing value, risk and modernization.

Responsibilities

• Own the mission, roadmap and performance of the Payments Platform.
• Define platform standards, data, events and reconciliation requirements.
• Prioritize platform backlog balancing member value, regulatory change and technical debt.
• Partner with science, architecture, and supplier teams to improve outcomes across the Society.
