Wilsons Auctions Ltd is seeking a Senior Business Development & Account Manager to drive growth for the Plant & Machinery Division across Scotland, England and Wales. You will identify opportunities, manage key accounts and secure high-value consignments while collaborating with internal teams to deliver excellent client service.

The role offers autonomy, a strategic remit and opportunities to shape the division’s expansion across the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in business development and account management.
• Experience growing key accounts and securing high-value opportunities.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of asset disposal or plant & machinery sectors is a plus.
• Ability to work across large UK geography and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans to grow market share across Scotland, England and Wales.
• Identify, target and secure new vendors and strategic partnerships.
• Manage existing customers to increase repeat business and revenue.
• Procure plant, machinery and related assets for auction.
• Collaborate with leasing, finance and corporate clients to deliver disposal solutions.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline.
• Represent the company at trade events and exhibitions.
