Job summary

William Wilson, part of the Wolseley Group, is seeking a Field Sales Account Manager to cover Central Scotland, including Dundee, Edinburgh, Fife, Glasgow, Perth and Ayrshire. You will drive new business, grow existing accounts and build strong relationships with developers, contractors and specifiers while working from home and in the field.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, with a competitive package including a company car/allowance, bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in field sales with account management and new business development.
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to identify opportunities and deliver results.
• Excellent relationship builder; comfortable engaging at director, contracts manager and site levels.

Responsibilities

• Proactively winning new business with builders, developers, plumbing & heating contractors, and renewables across Central Scotland.
• Manage, maintain and grow a portfolio of key accounts.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity in the region.
• Identify and convert new build opportunities and potential competitor accounts.
• Collaborate with branches to ensure excellent service, stock and pricing locally.
