Job summary

Gousto is seeking a data & planning specialist within the Supply Chain & Logistics division to own core datasets, the semantic layer, and automated reporting. You will drive end-to-end planning, add self-service insights, and extend forecasting into production scheduling and line optimization.

You will partner with Data Science and engineering to implement AI-enabled forecasting, reduce manual analysis, and support scenario planning for cost and capacity decisions.

Qualifications

• Proficient in SQL and cloud data platforms like Databricks or dbt.
• Basic knowledge of Python or Apps Script for automation.
• Strong in forecast error metrics (MAPE/WMAPE) and scenario modelling.
• Knowledgeable in AI and LLM concepts and how to apply them to planning insights.
• Experience partnering with data science and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Owning and evolving D&SP's core datasets and Semantic Layer to support trusted, self-service reporting and analytics.
• Automating recurring reporting, performance analysis, and insight generation.
• Building and maintaining analytical models for scenario planning, S&OP, and production scheduling.
• Driving automation and optimisation opportunities in planning tools.
• Leading cross-functional Forecast Forum sessions and coordinating actions.
• Collaborating with Data Science and engineering to scope tech-enabled forecast improvements.
• Handling high-priority ad-hoc planning requests (new-market SKU feasibility, demand tooling).
• Exploring AI/LLM approaches to reduce manual analysis.
