To support the Fleet Planning Manager in creating fleet plans for the UK & Ireland. To ensure consistency and clarity of information and all supporting planning documents.
This is a hybrid role within the Financial Control & Reporting department, working twice a week from the Leicester HQ office and the remaining time working from home.

- Performing monthly fleet plans in Google Sheets / Excel
- Optimising the fleet to achieve key fleet KPIs – risk share, SIPP mix, utilisation rate, fleet cost
- Reviewing the current fleet planning process in IE and recommending improvements where needed
- Liaising with the fleet procurement team and RCM team to optimise infleets and defleets
- Ensuring consistency and accuracy of information in Greenway/Rentway
- Performing Group Rotation plans and liaising with the Group teams to explain any variances
- Performing reconciliations between Procurement, RCM and Planning files to ensure consistency
- Performing supporting analysis on the fleet – excess penalties, out of buyback, early returns
- Performing depreciation rate analysis and feeding the outcomes into GWY/Rentway
- Supporting the fleet controlling team in the forecasting process to optimise fleet costs
- Preparing monthly fleet planning decks to the Senior Management team
- Recommending optimal courses of action in the monthly fleet plans to ensure maximisation of EBIDTA and utilisation rates
- Supporting the Group team in implementing new planning tools
- Performing any ad hoc analysis as requested

- MS Office skills, especially Excel (pivot tables, IF statements, vlookups and graphs)
- Google Mail, Google Drive, Google Sheets and Business Objects will be a plus
