Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Europe (HBUEU) is seeking a Senior Planner to lead planning for complex UK EPC projects in the energy sector. You will own multiple programmes, manage schedule risk, and report progress to senior stakeholders.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, clients and engineers, ensuring plans align with contractual obligations and drive on-time delivery from the Birmingham office.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Planner or Lead Planner within EPC, energy, utilities, transmission & distribution or electrical infrastructure sectors.
• Experience delivering projects under NEC and/or FIDIC forms of contract with schedule controls and reporting requirements.
• Expert user of Primavera P6 with ability to integrate programme management across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance and governance of integrated project programmes using Primavera P6.
• Manage schedule interfaces and dependencies with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor progress, identify critical paths and risks, and advise on mitigation and recovery strategies.
