Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK Limited in Birmingham seeks a Senior Planner to lead planning and control of complex EPC projects in the UK energy sector. You will own schedule management, forecasting, cost performance and risk analysis across multiple projects from £10m to £250m.

The role demands NEC/FIDIC contract experience, expert use of Primavera P6, and strong stakeholder communication. Travel to Birmingham sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of project planning, scheduling, forecasting, earned value management and project controls.
• Experience working with NEC and/or FIDIC forms of contract and contractual reporting.
• Proven ability to engage with clients, consultants, contractors and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and governance of integrated project programmes in Primavera P6.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and provide recovery strategies to stakeholders.
• Produce updates, dashboards and forecasts for internal and external audiences.
