Job summary

Hunter Philips is supporting a leading global OEM in the appointment of a Senior Planning Engineer to join its growing UK Planning & Project Controls function. This role leads the Integrated Master Schedule across major high-voltage offshore and onshore projects, coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction and vendors to drive successful delivery.

Qualifications

8–10+ years' experience in project planning, scheduling or project controls.
Experience in energy, power, high voltage, EPC or major infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of Primavera P6, scheduling, Earned Value Management and resource management.
Experience leading planning/project controls professionals.
Willingness to travel to UK project sites.

Responsibilities

Own, develop and maintain the Integrated Master Project Schedule across major high-voltage projects.
Lead planning and scheduling activities ensuring alignment with engineering, procurement, construction and delivery.
Establish and maintain planning governance, standards and procedures.
Undertake critical path analysis, forecasting and scenario planning.
Monitor progress, milestones and performance, and implement corrective actions.
Lead and support a team of planning professionals.
Identify and manage schedule, resource and project risks.
Work with senior stakeholders to align with the master programme.
Provide clear reporting and schedule insight for senior decision making.
