Level: Senior or Associate Level

I am working exclusively with an established and highly regarded planning consultancy based in Dublin is seeking a Senior or Associate-level Planner to join their team. The company works across a wide variety of sectors including, infrastructure, residential, retail, commercial, healthcare, tourism, and industrial, with growing activity in the renewables and energy sectors.

This role is ideal for someone with strong technical planning knowledge, experience managing projects end-to-end, and the ability to confidently liaise with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver a range of planning projects from inception to completion
  • Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and planning appraisals
  • Engage in development plan submissions and strategy work
  • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and provide strategic advice to clients
  • Maintain high standards in written reports and communications
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget

Requirements:

  • Degree (IPI or RTPI accredited) in Town Planning or equivalent
  • Approx. 5+ years of experience in planning consultancy or a related environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage planning projects independently
  • Strong written, verbal, and organisational skills
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach
  • Experience in energy or infrastructure sectors would be a strong advantage but not essential
